Complementing the exquisitely designed and appointed golf course at Cold Spring is the modest Clubhouse sited to become an iconic "Welcome" to the golfer and resident alike. Designed by Architectural Insights, Inc., this Clubhouse employs traditional vernacular architecture typical of New England throughout. This style uses familiar materials in a context to support an informal, comfortable environment accented with the touches of opulence that golfers have come to expect with such an exquisite course. The vision and execution of this Clubhouse also captures and highlights the striking views which contribute to the greatness of Cold Spring Country Club.
The two story Clubhouse design is sited subtly yet purposefully on the property's south-facing hill. This invites the golfer to utilize the extensive Pro Shop and amenities, Locker Rooms, and Player's Lounge within direct proximity to the course and its varied challenges of play and spectacular scenery. At the conclusion of play, the golfer is encouraged to return to enjoy Bistro 21 and its terrace which comprise the second floor of the Clubhouse. The indoor dining and lounge areas are enhanced by panoramic windows that capture and frame the magnificent views of the course, unique Pioneer Valley vistas, and seasonal palettes. The terrace provides uninterrupted views of the area's beauty in nearly every direction. Bistro 21 provides a superior level of hospitality to golfer, spectator, and resident alike, which has to be experienced to be fully understood. The Cold Spring Country Club and Clubhouse fully intend to set the standard for comfort, beauty, and recreation in the area.
